Kurseong Eagle’s Crag

Eagle's Crag is one of Kurseong’s most iconic viewpoints, located close to the town centre and railway station. Perched above the surrounding hills, it offers sweeping views of Kurseong’s tea gardens, valleys, mountain slopes and distant Himalayan peaks, with Kanchenjunga sometimes visible on clear days.

Beyond the scenery, Eagle’s Crag has a quiet, reflective atmosphere that makes it ideal for sunrise, sunset, photography and peaceful walks. The viewpoint also features a small park and the Shahid Smarak, adding a touch of local history and remembrance to the natural beauty.

Best experience: Visit early morning or around sunset when the changing light, mist and clouds create dramatic views across the Kurseong hills.
